A very interesting interview, to be fair the whole idea is quite clever and I'm surprised no one else thought of it sooner. By incentivising the referral scheme, people are more willing to go out of their way to inform a friend or family member of a job they might be suitable for.

Great post Katrina. Curating your own social media helps ensure that you create the first impression you want to leave. Many hiring managers now search for candidates before interview so you can be making an impression even before you enter the room!

Thanks for sharing it - hadn't seen it before! What a lovely find and apt for all year round and more so now! I was just saying today to my guest that there's nothing like to human connection. I am going to save this as one of my favourites. Compliments of the season and very best wishes...x

Thanks Katrina for such a great posting and I'm also very chuffed that I played a very small part in this recent blog article.

It was great talking with you on Friday as your firm but friendly approach for recruiting is a winning combination. I look forward to reading more particularly about soc media & recruiting.

Good advice from Winning Impression and Katrina. This is such a basic area that it is oft over looked. The number of "cover emails" that I see recruiters receive that say "take a look at my Linkedin profile, I can do it! Let me know if you need more info" or similar astounds me. Similar can also read: no subject (virus??), body of text - empty, one attachment. Why bother?
Thanks for sharing
